Introduction: Silent corticotroph adenomas (SCA) represent a subtype of pituitary adenomas whose prevalence is 3% of pituitary adenomas. They are characterized by having a positive immunohistochemistry to corticotropin (ACTH) without clinical or biochemical data of hypercortisolism.
